Powering a cleaner future at EXPO 2017 |

UN Environment will point the way to a clean energy future at the world’s biggest exhibition in Astana, Kazakhstan this summer.
EXPO 2017 is being held under the theme of ‘future energy’ and UN Environment is organising a roundtable for decision-makers, a multimedia story exhibition on the clean energy transition and a media dialogue, as well as taking part in numerous events.
On 24 August, Solar Impulse pioneer Bertrand Piccard will join UN Environment Executive Director Erik Solheim will highlight options and solutions for clean energy in a roundtable with key decision-makers, financial institutions and firms from Central Asia. More than two million people visited the 2015 EXPO edition in Milan, Italy.
