National Training Workshop on Green Economy, simulation analysis, Kiev, 10-11 April | |
Under the EU, OECD, UNECE, UNEP, and UNIDO’s joint project “Greening Economies in the Eastern Neighbourhood” (EaP GREEN), UNEP, together with Ukraine’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade will hold a training workshop on Green Economy assessment, which will focus on simulation analysis. This workshop had been postponed already on account of the political unstable situation in Ukraine. However, the Ministry emphasised that it remains committed to the EaP GREEN project activities and that this workshop should go ahead. The workshop will introduce methodologies and tools for assessments on Green Economy, including different types of simulation models, and discuss and plan the next steps for conducting such assessments. Participants will also have the opportunity to do practical exercises on scenario analysis. The workshop is primarily targeted to economists working on economic modelling, and statisticians, as well as representatives of government agencies and key economy sectors and other relevant stakeholders.
