UNEP Executive Director discusses energy issues on Russia Today

On April 15, Mr. Achim Steiner, Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Program, was interviewed by RT (Russia Today), a Russian state-funded news channel with a global reach of over 700 million people around the world. During a screening of the bi-weekly geopolitical analysis show Worlds Apart, the show’s host Oksana Boyko and Mr. Steiner discussed the competitiveness of renewable energy sources, the link between natural resources and conflicts, and the role of the UNEP in bringing together governments and the private sector to shape our energy future.
