There is increased emphasis on the refrigeration servicing sector to reduce HCFC consumption (and emissions) through good servicing and containment practices as well as servicing equipment with alternative refrigerants. The main objective of thematic meeting is to share experiences and information between the representatives of the national ozone units (NOUs), refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) associations and implementing agencies of the participating countries Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, fYROM, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey. A similar meeting is being organized in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on 30 September – 2 October, for the Central Asian and Caucasus group of countries including the countries with economies in transition (CEIT countries). The meeting documents including the concept note, logistical note, meeting agenda, list of participants, meeting highlights & recommendations will be made available from the ECA website: www.unep.org/ozonaction/ecanetwork/ |
