  ON THE CALENDAR
Green Week, 3-5 June

Organized by the European Commission, this is the largest annual conference on European environment policy. The 2014 theme is “Circular Economy, Resource Efficiency & Waste”. The conference will take place in Brussels, at The Egg Conference Centre, Rue Bara.


On 4 June, UNEP will hold a high-level panel discussion on green economy, finance, and sustainable production and consumption. UNEP is further involved in a number of sessions, contributing speakers or as co-organizer of sessions, including one in which the International Resource Panel’s assessment report Decoupling in practice will be launched. UNEP will be present at a UNEP/UN information stand.
